Cuca recreates old trinkets into individual items. "I encounter these objects that were once loved but still with palpable memories, experiences and stories from the past. From that point begin a journey where I resemble individually these findings allowing each one a new zest of life open to new interpretations."
OLD OBJECT, NEW LOOK. Old object, new look is a collection of revisited objects. On the base of nearly forgotten fragments, stripped of their utility, we work in the process of recovering and re-contextualizing. "Old object, new look" es una colección de objetos revisitados. A partir de materiales olvidados y sin aparente uso, se trabaja la idea de recuperación y recontextualización del objeto. Something new fronm something old
Rosary
Rosary-based prayers are mostly Roman Catholic prayers said on a set of rosary beads. These prayers recite specific word sequences on different parts of the rosary beads. They may be directed at Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary or The Father.[1] Somewhat similar bead-based prayers also exist in other Christian denominations. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Tie-dyeTie-dye is a process of resist dyeing textiles or clothing which is made from knit or woven fabric, usually cotton; typically using bright colors. It is a modern version of traditional dyeing methods used in many cultures throughout the world.[1] "Tie-dye" can also describe the resulting pattern or an item which features this pattern. Tie-dyeing became fashionable in the West in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of hippie style.

Homage to 50s glamour Lace
Lace is an openwork fabric, patterned with open holes in the work, made by machine or by hand. The holes can be formed via removal of threads or cloth from a previously woven fabric, but more often open spaces are created as part of the lace fabric. Lace-making is an ancient craft. True lace was not made until the late 15th and early 16th centuries. A true lace is created when a thread is looped, twisted or braided to other threads independently from a backing fabric. Originally linen, silk, gold, or silver threads were used. Now lace is often made with cotton thread, although linen and silk threads are still available. Manufactured lace may be made of synthetic fiber. A few modern artists make lace with a fine copper or silver wire instead of thread. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. There are many types of lace, classified by how they are made. These include:

Silk
Silk is a natural protein fiber, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The best-known type of silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori reared in captivity (sericulture). The shimmering appearance of silk is due to the triangular prism-like structure of the silk fiber, which allows silk cloth to refract incoming light at different angles, thus producing different colors.
Silks are produced by several other insects, but generally only the silk of moth caterpillars has been used for textile manufacturing. There has been some research into other silks, which differ at the molecular level[1]. Many silks are mainly produced by the larvae of insects undergoing complete metamorphosis, but some adult insects such as webspinners produce silk, and some insects such as raspy crickets produce silk throughout their lives[2]. Silk production production also occurs in Hymenoptera (bees, wasps, and ants), silverfish, mayflies, thrips, leafhoppers, beetles, lacewings, fleas, flies and midges[3]. Other types of arthropod produce silk, most notably various arachnids such as spiders (see spider silk). Something new from something old
